DREAM Trivandrum conducted an informative awareness session at Government Tamil high
school focused on educating students about the dangers of drug addiction. The session
covered key topics, including what addiction is, how it affects physical and mental health, the
science of addiction, and the challenges that adolescents commonly face. Students were
encouraged to participate, making the session interactive and engaging.
The session was facilitated by Ms. Neha Joseph, Coordinator of DREAM Trivandrum, and
Ms. Anooja R, Counselor at DREAM Trivandrum. They provided useful insights into how
addiction develops and shared practical tips on avoiding drug use. The goal of the session
was to increase awareness and help students understand the importance of making positive
choices.
