Farewell to Manuel Sir: A Heartfelt Tribute at Don Bosco Veedu

Manacaud, Trivandrum – March 29, 2025

Don Bosco Veedu bid an emotional farewell to Mr. Manuel George in a heartfelt ceremony held at the Audio Visual Hall (AV Hall), Don Bosco Veedu, Manacaud on March 29, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. The event, titled Adieu, Manuel Sir, was a tribute to his dedication and contributions over the years.

The farewell program commenced with a soulful prayer led by Ms. Binta Babu & Ms. Elsemaria Tom, followed by a warm welcome address by Fr. Joby Sebastian SDB, the Director of Don Bosco Veedu. 

Fr. Jiji Kalavanal SDB, Rector of Don Bosco Veedu, delivered the Presidential Address, highlighting Manuel Sir’s invaluable service and unwavering commitment to the organization. This was followed by an energetic Fusion Dance performance by the interns, adding vibrancy to the occasion.

The event also featured felicitation speeches by Fr. Saji Elambasseryil SDB (Administrator, Don Bosco Veedu), Fr. Sebastian SDB (Vicar, Shayamata Church, Manacaud), and Ms. Anooja R (Staff, Don Bosco Veedu), each of whom shared heartfelt words of appreciation and gratitude. A video presentation was screened, capturing memorable moments of Manuel Sir’s journey with Don Bosco Veedu. In a special gesture, Don Bosco Veedu honored Manuel Sir, recognizing his years of service and dedication.

The highlight of the program was the Reply Speech by Mr. Manuel George, where he expressed his gratitude and shared his reflections on his time at Don Bosco Veedu.

The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Ms. Anmy Therese, bringing the program to a heartfelt close.

Don Bosco Veedu extends its deepest appreciation to Manuel Sir for his years of dedicated service and wishes him success in all his future endeavors. His legacy of compassion, commitment, and service will always be cherished within the Don Bosco family.
