A full-day session was conducted for the children in the SPARK project on October 21st, 2023, at Don Bosco Nivas from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Nine children participated. The session began with an energizer.
The topic for the session was ‘Basic Grammar: Covering Vowels’. An initial assessment was done to determine their basic English knowledge. The children were divided into groups of three and made to do word puzzles. Activities after learning vowels and games were included in the session to make it more engaging and interesting.
SPARK is an initiative to reinforce the academic and non-academic competencies of deprived, vulnerable, and semi-orphan children living in our operational areas. The project focuses on a holistic development model offering year-round academic preparation and supplementary education.
