  Trivandrum Don Bosco Veedu Society is part of the Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB) congregation spread over 133 countries working for the welfare of children and youth, especially those at risk.
  
  For reflection, sharing, and coordination among those involved in the Salesian ministry for the Young at Risk (YaR) in South Asia, to network with like-minded persons and organizations on behalf of YaR, to influence policies related to the young at risk at the state, national and international levels.

  We have redesigned our logo recently to reflect who we are and what we do and to communicate the same with others. The logo incorporates English and Malayalam alphabets. Just as we reach out to people of multiple ethnicities speaking myriad languages

CHILD HELP GROUP (CHG) MEETING

Thiruvananthapuram Railway CHILDLINE conducted a Child Help Group (CHG) meeting in the Meeting Hall, Central Railway Station.

On 31^st March 2023, Thiruvananthapuram Railway Child Help Desk organized a Child Help Group (CHG) meeting at the Meeting Hall, TVC. The meeting started with a silent prayer. The Welcome address was delivered by Mr. Rejeesh Raj (Team member, RCHD). The Presidential Address was delivered by the Station Director Mr. Promodh P Shenoi IRTS. Mr. Jobi Kondoor (District CHILDLINE Coordinator) delivered key note address in the meeting. Mrs. Zeena Sunil (Coordinator, RCHD) presented the previous month’s report which included total case interventions, day observance and special programs. The felicitation was delivered by Mr. Babloo Thomas (Station Manager, TVC) and Mr. Manuel George (Program Manager, Don Bosco Veedu Society). Later, Mrs. Zeena Sunil (Coordinator, RCHD) presented the last CHG meeting minutes report and the agendas. All the agendas were approved by the Officials.

The officials were Mr. Shibu (SI, GRP, TVC), Mr. Anil Kumar (RPF, TVC), Mr. Shijin (CHI, TVC), SSE workers and CHD Staff also participated in the meeting and were participated and also gave their valuable suggestions during the entire program. The Vote of Thanks delivered by Mr. Sajeev (RCHD Team Member) & Ms. Aiswarya Lawrence (Team Member, RCHD) hosted the meeting.

Railway Childline is an active and effective part of Childline. The outreach programs of the project mainly focused on child protection and providing awareness about Childline and its activities.
