DREAM Trivandrum was extremely contented to collaborate with the Railway Child Help Desk Trivandrum and Trivandrum Don Bosco Veedu Society in the conducting the child Se Dosti Week, ‘Surakshitha Balayam 2022’ on 19th November 2022. The program was meant to generate an awareness among the society on the need of protection of children, especially to protect them from the substance and drug abuse. The program was inaugurated by Smt Shameena beegam, CWC Chairperson in presence of Rev Fr Jiji Kalavanal, Rector Don Bosco Veedu Society, Smt Chitralekha, Dcpo Trivandrum, RPF officers, and GRP.
This occasion was utilised by DREAM Trivandrum to Conducted a live quiz competition including the guest and public, on the facts related to Narcotics. Which was followed by a mega quiz event, where the prize for the same was distributed by the CWC Chairperson. The Program also made lively with the performance of a street play and flash mob. DREAM (Drug Rehabilitation Education And Mentoring) is the project initiated by Don Bosco Veedu Society and Banglore Rural Education and Development Society focus to reduce the prevalence of drugs among the school and college students.
