Intervention and Mentoring for Personality Advancement and Career Training aim to provide free Entrance Coaching to the Financially challenged students from Thiruvananthapuram, commenced on 1 July 2020. In the first phase, fifty-five students are identified after an aptitude test and interview. After a few weeks of training and evaluating their performance, the number is restricted to 30, the maximum number we can afford in the given infrastructure.
Due to the prevailing restrictions, classes are provided online on weekdays and offline on holidays. Each student is assigned to a personal mentor throughout the academic sessions to evaluate, enhance and motivate.
IMPACT also acts as a tutorial centre for students to improve their academic performance. The faculties and mentors include student volunteers from Govt Medical College, Govt Dental College, Govt Homeo College, Govt Engineering College, TKM, and other academic professionals. The online classes are recorded and made available to the absentees.
The IMPACT team is ready to provide support, guide, motivate and counsel the students throughout the academic year.
