MHD Kottayam in association with KSACS and Asset Homes observed World Environment Day along with 70 guest workers to give them awareness about Environmental protection, as environmental protection is the cornerstone for maintaining our planet, communities, and economy. If it is not protected then serious issues will happen to our planet. The meeting began with a small introduction on the importance & relevance of observing World Environment Day by Mr. John, MHD Kottayam in the presence of all staff members of Asset Homes and the rest 70 guest workers, after that a brief awareness session was provided by Mr. Baiju Janardanan, Project Manager, KSACS on various methods to protect our environment, promoting them to plant saplings, and at the same time avoid using plastics and use proper methods of waste disposal. In the end, we all planted 5 saplings; One Guava, Two Neem and Two Golden shower saplings. The guest workers and staff members of Asset Homes looked very lively and participated during the programme very actively, patiently listening the entire session thus making it a great success.
