International Women’s Day is celebrated every year on March 8. It’s International Women’s Day, which aims to celebrate women and bring attention to issues of gender equality, reproductive rights, and violence against women and girls. The global theme for 2023 is #Embrace Equity, which is part of an on-going effort to raise awareness around “Why equal opportunities are no longer enough.” Today is a time to highlight achievements made by women, but also opportunities to become better informed and collaborates and brainstorms about the path forward.

CHILDLINE Trivandrum organised an awareness session related to the laws for the “Protection of Women and Children” Mr.Pramod P R handled the session for the women group of Andoorkonam Panchayath & CHILDLINE Services by Mr.Askar S.  Sri. Harikumar inaugurated the session. Smt.Shereena Sajeevan, ICDS Supervisor, Smt.Jisha Thyagarajan, Chief Guest & Smt. Majida Beevi K and other panchayath personnel were chaired in the Dias.
