Don Bosco Veedu Society celebrated International Women’s Day at Karimadom with great enthusiasm, bringing together 70 participants for an event focused on women’s health and empowerment.
The celebration featured two insightful sessions on women’s health. The first session was conducted by Dr. Leeba, Assistant Professor at Sri Vidya Homeopathic Medical College, Nemom, followed by a session led by Ms. Neha Joseph, Project Coordinator of Dream. Both sessions emphasized the importance of health and well-being among women.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. Leeba, while Fr. Joby Sebastian, the Director of Don Bosco Veedu Society, delivered the keynote address, highlighting the significance of women’s empowerment and community development.
Adding to the vibrancy of the day, cultural programs and various activities were organized for both women and children. A drawing competition for children brought out their creativity, and winners were awarded prizes in recognition of their talent.
The Women’s Day celebration at Karimadom successfully created a platform for awareness, engagement, and empowerment, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to the well-being and development of women and children in the community.
