A Mat Making Skill Training Programme was held today for women in the MSK Nagar community, led by Ms. Aleema. The training focused on teaching participants the foundational techniques of mat weaving using simple, locally available materials.

Women actively participated in the practical session, learning step-by-step methods and completing sample pieces by the end of the programme. Many shared that the training was highly beneficial and encouraged them to explore craft-based livelihood options.

The session successfully enhanced the creative and economic skills of the participants, contributing to their empowerment.
