UACT ‘Youth in Action’ Internship Concludes with Insightful Evaluation and Cultural Celebration

Dignitaries and students at the UACT ‘Youth in Action’ Internship conclusion ceremony, sharing feedback and celebrating the success of the programme.

The conclusion ceremony of the UACT Youth in Action Field Internship Programme was conducted with great enthusiasm, marking the successful completion of a dynamic and impactful learning journey.

The event was graced by distinguished dignitaries including Fr. Thomas Meckaden, Director of Don Bosco Veedu Society; Dr. Fr. Saji S J from Loyola College of Social Sciences, Thiruvananthapuram; and Dr.Francina P.X, Head of the Department. They provided valuable evaluation and constructive feedback on the internship programme. A major highlight of the ceremony was the activity presentations by students, where they showcased the various initiatives, interventions, and community-based activities carried out during the internship. This was followed by the certificate distribution ceremony, recognizing the dedication and successful participation of all students in the programme.

Students also shared their individual feedback, expressing their learning outcomes and personal growth through the UACT internship experience.
The event featured lively cultural programmes, adding joy and energy to the occasion. The dignitaries from Loyola College of Social Sciences honoured the Director and staff of Don Bosco Veedu Society with tokens of appreciation.

Akhil Devasia, founder of the UACT programme, and Kavya S.A., field coordinator, shared their reviews, appreciating the students’ active involvement and commitment.The programme concluded on a positive and inspiring note, emphasizing the importance of experiential learning and youth participation in community development.
