Project AWAKE organized an honouring ceremony for the students from MSK Nagar those who are qualified for higher education from10th standard and 12th standard. The event, held at the local community center on 14th July 2024. The ceremony was inaugurated by Mr. Mohanan Nair (Ex-ward Counsellor). Fr. Joby Sebastian (Director of Don Bosco Veedu) were delivered the presidential address. Community leaders, teachers, and parents gathered to show appreciation the efforts of these young achievers, whose dedication has inspired many within the slum. Students were called to the stage one by one to receive prizes generously. Also the project team honoured master Vishnu for his achievement in team membership in KERALA blasters football team. Mr. Jerone( Staff of Don Bosco),Mr. Manoj (residents association president, MSK Nagar) were participated in the ceremony. The honouring ceremony organized by Project AWAKE not only celebrated academic success but also fostered a sense of pride and unity within MSK Nagar.
