An awareness session on the effects of drugs and other forms of addiction was conducted by
DREAM Trivandrum at Government High School Kottukal to educate students about the
dangers of drug use. The session discussed key points such as the facts about addiction, its
harmful effects, the biological science behind addiction, and the challenges adolescents face
during this period.
The interactive session was led by Ms. Neha Joseph, Coordinator of DREAM Trivandrum,
along with Ms. Anooja R, Counselor of DREAM Trivandrum. And the team offered
counselling services to the needed students.
DREAM, Drug Rehabilitation Education And Mentoring, a project of BREADS (Bangalore
Rural Education and Development Society), works to prevent drug use among young people.
In partnership with Trivandrum Don Bosco Veedu Society, the project provides free
education, counseling, and de-addiction services to help build a drug-free environment for
children and youth
