Fixing visibility board in public space at Balaramapuram Panchayath

CHILDLINE India Foundation as its special initiative for making Child Friendly Panchayath, 5 panchayath was selected for pilot study in Kerala.  In Thiruvananthapuram District, we have selected two panchayth’s Balaramapuram and Anjuthengu. Commencing that, Thampanoor Intervention Unit (Don Bosco) selected Balaramapuram Panchayath. In this panchayath a total of 20 wards including all communities are present. The ward level Child protection committee formation started since  December 2021 and several child friendly programmes was also conducted in these wards during last 12 months. As part of creating child friendly Panchayath 20 visibility board’s were fixed in public places of 20 wards of Balaramapuram Panchayath to spread awareness on Child protection and Helpline number service.
