The farewell event of Spark was celebrated with great enthusiasm and heartfelt emotions, marking the successful completion of the program. The function was formally inaugurated by Fr. Thomas Meckaden, whose inspiring words motivated the children to move forward with confidence and hope.The event continued with an experience-sharing session by Mr. Arun Marie, Project Coordinator of AWAKE – Empowerment of Women, Youth, and Children through Education and Skill Development in MSK Nagar Slums, Thiruvananthapuram. He reflected on the journey of the project, the growth of the children, and the importance of discipline, unity, and perseverance.Ms. Preetha also addressed the gathering, sharing her valuable insights and encouragement for the students’ future endeavors.A special session on “Stress Management Tricks During Exams” was conducted, equipping students with practical techniques to handle exam pressure confidently and maintain emotional balance.Following the formal sessions, students enjoyed a delicious meal together, strengthening bonds of friendship and togetherness. The atmosphere then turned lively with engaging games, bringing laughter and excitement to the participants.The cultural program added color and vibrancy to the farewell celebration. Students showcased their talents through various performances, followed by heartfelt experience-sharing moments that reflected their gratitude and personal growth during the Spark program.Gifts were distributed to all the children as a token of appreciation and love.
