On November 25, 2023, at Don Bosco Nivas a full-day session for the kids involved in the SPARK project was conducted, running from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There were nine children involved. The session started with a quick dance warm-up. The lessons from the preview class were gone over again. The subject of the day was “My Family”. To include both physical and mental education in the lessons, games were used. Every game was played in two groups and was competitive in nature. As a thank you, chocolates were given to the other kids and the team with the highest score of the day received munch each.
SPARK is an initiative to reinforce the academic and non-academic competencies of deprived, vulnerable, and semi-orphan children living in our operational areas. The project focuses on a holistic development model offering year-round academic preparation and supplementary education.
