
On Saturday, 25th October 2025, the SPARK program commenced with an engaging and insightful day filled with learning, creativity, and collaboration.The day began with an enlightening session by Mrs. Preetha, who emphasized the importance of news in everyday life. She highlighted how being informed through credible sources shapes critical thinking, fosters awareness of global and local events, and nurtures responsible citizenship. Her interactive talk inspired participants to differentiate between authentic journalism and misinformation, enhancing their media literacy and sense of social responsibility.Following this, Mrs. Vasanthakumari, a respected educator, led a thought-provoking session on the significance of mathematics. She illustrated how mathematical thinking builds logical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and analytical ability—skills that extend far beyond the classroom. Using real-life examples and lively discussions, she conveyed that mathematics is not merely about numbers, but about the patterns and logic that define our world.In the afternoon, the program took a vibrant turn as enthusiastic interns conducted a series of motivational games.
