Don Bosco Veedu organized a three-day Onam vacation camp for the Spark students, which started on September 19, 2024, at Sahaya Matha Auditorium Manacaud Trivandrum. The campers were students from classes six to nine.

The program began with a formal address by Fr. Joby Sebastian SDB, (Director of Don Bosco Veedu). The various sessions helped to hone their language skills, while the games and activities aimed to enhance teamwork and communication. The camp concluded with a street play and flash mob on September 21, 2024. Both the street play and flash mob addressed waste management issues through the real-life incident at Amayizhanchal Canal in Trivandrum.

Mr. Sreekumar, (Circle Inspector of Thampanoor Police Station), was the chief guest at the closing ceremony. He congratulated the organizers and students for their commitment to the environment and praised their efforts in educating the community about waste management and the importance of community cooperation in maintaining a clean city.

In addition to imparting valuable academic knowledge, the camp motivated participants to become more engaged citizens, equipped to handle real-world issues.
