In a dedicated effort to address the pressing issue of drug abuse and addiction among the younger
generation, an impactful awareness program was meticulously organized at Prem Nasir Memorial
High School Chirayenkeezhu. The program, organized by the esteemed DREAM Project, aimed to
enlighten and educate students on the critical repercussions of drug abuse and addiction, with a
particular focus on children and youth. Guided by the expertise of Ms. Neha Joseph, the Coordinator
of DREAM Trivandrum, and Ms. Anooja R, an esteemed Counselor within the DREAM Project, the
sessions were thoughtfully structured to explore the multifaceted dimensions of substance abuse. The
event commenced with an engaging presentation that vividly portrayed the detrimental effects of
drugs on physical health, mental well-being, and its far-reaching implications on societal harmony.
Compelling visuals, relatable anecdotes, and real-life instances were employed to underscore the
gravity of the issue. One of the program’s highlights was its interactive nature, encouraging active
