Sensitization Programme for the Ticket Counter Staff

Thiruvananthapuram Railway Childline conducts a sensitization program for the Tickets Counter Staff.

The RCHD staff of Thiruvananthapuram Railway Childline organised a sensitization programme for the Ticket Counter Staff at the Central Railway Station in Trivandrum on 07th January 2023. Mr. Sabu G J – commercial Superintendent (Booking) encouraged the Childline awareness to the Railway Staff of the Trivandrum. The programme aims to sensitise the Ticket Counter Staff about the CHILDLINE. The session was conducted by Ms. Roshma Mary T S (Counselor, RCHD) on the topic of “CHILDLINE and its activities’ and aware the stakeholders on the aims and projects of Childline. The Counsellor discussed how trains can be a medium of danger to children, alongside stress on the role of these staffs on protecting Children. Mr. Anthony (Chief Reservation Supervisor) acknowledged the RCHD team for working 24*7. RCHD team provided information about Childline to the audience and pamphlets were distributed by Mrs. Beena, Mrs. Thahira and Mr. Sajeev (Team Member, RCHD). We are also thankful towards Sabu Sir (Commercial Superintendent (Booking)) and Mr. Antony (Chief Reservation Supervisor) for giving permission to conduct awareness class to all their staffs despite the heavy work load. Railway Childline aims to aware their functions and keep a friendly relationship with the stakeholders so as to ensure the safety of the children who come across the Railway Stations. Railway Childline is an active and an essential part of Childline. The Sensitization programs of this project mainly focused on child protection and providing awareness about Childline and its activities.
