DREAM Trivandrum conducted the second phase awareness program for the students of St Vincent High School Kaniyapuram

DREAM Trivandrum team during the awareness programme for students of St Vincent High School, Kaniyapuram. The prevalence of drug substances is drastically increasing among the school students in Trivandrum Corporation.

DREAM Trivandrum organized an awareness programme for students on “The Effects of
Drugs and Brain Science on Students” at St Vincent High School, Kaniyapuram, on August
4, 2022. The team members of DREAM Trivandrum handled the sessions. The awareness
programme had the participation of 430 students from the school.


The programme was initiated as part of the second phase of awareness programmes of
DREAM. Ms. Neha Joseph, DREAM District Coordinator, Ms. Anooja R, District
Counsellor, and Mr. Nithin KK, Social Worker, interacted with the students and raised
awareness among the students about the issue of drug abuse. 


DREAM (Drug Rehabilitation Education And Mentoring) is a project initiated by Don Bosco
Veedu Society and Bangalore Rural Education and Development Society. The project focuses
on reducing the access to and use of drugs among school and college students. The project
envisions creating an impact through three phases of activities.
