An awareness programme was organised for the students of St Mary’s High School, Vettukad, on the Effects of Drugs and Brain Science on Students on October 13, 2022. The team also conducted an Essay competition for the students as part of the same. The winners were declared, and prizes were distributed during the programme. The staff representatives of St Mary’s High School, Vettukad, distributed the prizes to the winners. The awareness sessions were handled by the team members of DREAM Trivandrum.

The programme was initiated as part of the School-level awareness programs of DREAM. DREAM District Coordinator Ms Neha Joseph and District Counsellor Ms Anooja R interacted with the students and made the sessions more interesting.

DREAM (Drug Rehabilitation Education And Mentoring) is a project initiated by the Don Bosco Veedu Society and Banglore Rural Education and Development Society that focuses on reducing the prevalence of drugs among school and college students. The project envisions creating an impact through three phases of activities.
