School awareness programme at Government Model Boys School Thycaud

DREAM Trivandrum, in collaboration with the project Yodhavu, conducted the second phase awareness programme for the students of Government Model Boys Thycaud.

An awareness programme was organised for the students of Government Model Boys, Thycaud, on the Effects of Drugs on Students on October 21, 2022. The awareness sessions were handled by the team members of DREAM Trivandrum.

The programme was initiated as part of the school-level awareness programmes of DREAM. DREAM District Coordinator Ms Neha Joseph and District Counsellor Ms Anooja R interacted with the students and made the sessions more interesting. At the end of the session, the DREAM volunteers distributed booklets that mentioned drug rehabilitation education.

DREAM (Drug Rehabilitation Education And Mentoring) is a project initiated by the Don Bosco Veedu Society, and BREADS ( Bangalore Rural Education and Development Society) focuses on reducing  the prevalence of drugs among school students. The project envisions creating an impact through three phases of activities.
