DREAM Trivandrum organized an awareness programme for the students of Government High School, Venganoor, Chavadinada, on the “Effects of Drugs and Brain Science on Students” on September 24, 2022. The team also conducted an essay competition for the students as part of the same programme. The winners were announced, and prizes were distributed during the programme. The Vice Principal of Government High School, Venganoor, Chavadinada, distributed the prizes to the winners. The team members of DREAM Trivandrum handled the awareness sessions.

The programme was initiated as part of the second phase of awareness programmes of DREAM. Ms Neha Joseph, DREAM District Coordinator and Ms Anooja R, District Counsellor, interacted with the students and made the sessions more insightful.

DREAM (Drug Rehabilitation Education And Mentoring) is a project initiated by Don Bosco Veedu Society and Bangalore Rural Education and Development Society. The project focuses on reducing the access to and use of drugs among school and college students. The project envisions creating an impact through three phases of activities.
