The prevalence of drug substances is drastically increasing among the school students in Trivandrum Corporation

An awareness program was organised for the students of Government Model Higher Secondary School Thycaud on the effects of Drugs, addiction and the brain science on students on 14th July 2023.  The sessions was handled by the team members of DREAM Trivandrum. 100 students from the school was covered during the program.

The program was initiated as part of the School level awareness programs of DREAM. DREAM District Coordinator Ms Neha Joseph, and District Counsellor Ms Anooja R, interacted with the students and made the sessions more interesting.

DREAM (Drug Rehabilitation Education And Mentoring) is the project initiated by Don Bosco Veedu Society and Banglore Rural Education and Development Society focus to reduce the prevalence of drugs among the school and college students. The project envisions to create an impact through three phases of activities.
