On December 23rd, 2024, the IMPACT project, an initiative of Don Bosco Veedu Society in Trivandrum, celebrated Christmas in a meaningful and inspiring way at the IMPACT classroom. The event brought together students, faculty, and staff for an afternoon filled with reflection, motivation, and holiday cheer.
The program was graced by Mr. Vinod Thomas, CSR Head at IBS Software Services Ltd, who delivered an insightful address on the importance of Christmas. Mr. Thomas emphasized the values of love, compassion, and togetherness that Christmas represents. His words resonated deeply with the audience, reminding everyone of the true essence of the holiday season.
Fr. Joby Sebastian, Director of Don Bosco Veedu, gave the presidential address, sharing a comprehensive message about the history of Christmas. He spoke about the significance of the season, offering a blend of tradition and inspiration that enriched the celebration.
The Christmas message continued with Fr. Saji Elambasseril SDB, the Administrator of Don Bosco Veedu, who motivated the students with his encouraging words. Fr. Saji’s message reminded everyone of the importance of hope and joy during Christmas, and how these values are essential for personal and community growth.
The celebration was attended by 8 faculty members and 29 students, all of whom contributed to the warm and engaging atmosphere. The entire event was meticulously organized by Ms. Anmy Therese Joseph, the Coordinator of the IMPACT project.
This Christmas celebration at IMPACT was not only a time for festive cheer but also an opportunity to reflect on the deeper values of the season, motivating students and faculty to carry forward the spirit of Christmas throughout the year.
