The world drug problem is a complex issue that affects millions of people worldwide. Many people who use drugs face stigma and discrimination, which can further harm their physical and mental health and prevent them from accessing the help they need. The International day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking 2023 was observed with the theme “People first: stop stigma and discrimination, strengthen prevention.”. Don Bosco Veedu Society in association with DREAM Trivandrum observed the day via organizing the program “Oppam” at Government ITI chakkai. The program was inaugurated by Shri Deepak Dhenker IPS and presided over by Fr Dominic Kaniyantharayil SDB, Asst Director Don Bosco Nivas.

The programs went attractive with a skit by the Beneficiary of AWAKE project by Don Bosco Veedu Society, a Painting Exhibition at college,  Live Quiz competition and taking anti drug oath
