Thiruvananthapuram Railway Childline conducted an awareness and outreach program at KSRTC Bus Terminal

Ms Aiswarya explained about CHIDLINE activities to the KSRTC Bus Terminal Staff.

On 28th April 2023, Thiruvananthapuram Railway CHILDLINE conducted an awareness and outreach program at KSRTC Bus Terminal, Thampanoor. The staff and  interns were provide CHILDLINE awareness to the KSRTC Station Master, Ticket Counter Staff, Bus Drivers, Bus Conductors, Stall vendors and to the general public including adults and children.  Team distributed CHILDLINE brochures to them and covered more than 80 individuals. The Team verified the children seen in Bus stand premises and interacted with them about the CHILDLINE toll free number.

Railway Childline conducted awareness and outreach at KSRTC Bus Stand which aims to spread the awareness about CHILDLINE and the functions of Railway Childline. The KSRTC Bus stand outreaches helps to provide friendly relationship with the stakeholders and ensures the safety of the children who come across the KSRTC Bus Terminal.

Railway Childline is an active and effective part of Childline. The outreach programs of the project mainly focused on child protection and providing awareness about Childline and its activities.
