A one-day programme was organised at Don Bosco Edu Center, MSK Nagar by Mr. Jerome and Mr. Shivaprasad on 4th February 2023. Sixty-five children attended the programme which was filled with energetic games and activities. All the children actively participated in the games. In the closing ceremony, Fr. Saji Elambasseril, Director, Don Bosco Veedu distributed attractive prizes to the children who won in different games and activities.

Conducting activities and games at the center makes the class and environment enthusiastic for the children and would amplify their interest to attend the tuition classes more often and be attentive. Don Bosco Edu Center aims to build an interest and curiosity for education in these children.

Don Bosco Edu Center provides remedial Education for economically backward children at MSK Nagar. It is an initiative by Trivandrum Don Bosco Veedu Society for their upliftment. Children in the slums are deprived of quality education as they are discriminated against at school and need support to bridge their learning lags. Remedial Education is an effective tool to help them acquire quality education and understand the importance of education.
