The character formation of a child begins from the younger age. And that has to be
considered very seriously the. Parents play a crucial role in shaping a child’s character,
yet they may sometimes be unaware of what’s happening with their children, including
the evolving trends and the prevalence of addictive behaviors among the younger
generation.
DREAM Trivandrum, in collaboration with ICDS of Maranaloor Panchayat, conducted
an awareness program for the parents of Children in Anganwadi regarding the impacts
of Mobile use and other forms of addiction among children and youth. The session, led
by Ms. Neha Joseph, Coordinator of DREAM Trivandrum, shed light on the current
societal landscape and strategies to combat social issues.
DREAM – Drug Rehabilitation Education And Mentoring is a right based initiative by
Trivandrum Don Bosco Veedu Society Trivandrum and Banglore Rural Education And
Development Society which focuses to reduce the prevalence of drugs and other forms
