A free medical camp and awareness session on drug abuse were successfully conducted at MSK Nagar and DB Veedu, benefiting the local community. Organized in collaboration with the Homeopathic Medical College, the initiative aimed to provide essential healthcare services while educating residents on the dangers of substance abuse.
Two dedicated medical teams, each consisting of two doctors and ten house surgeons, attended to approximately 30 individuals, offering consultations and distributing free medications. Alongside medical assistance, an awareness session on drug abuse was held, featuring informative pamphlets to spread knowledge about the risks of addiction.
Recognizing the challenges posed by the hot weather, the organizers also distributed caps and hand fans to women participants, ensuring their comfort throughout the event.
The programme concluded on a positive note, successfully addressing immediate health concerns while fostering awareness and community well-being.
