Residential camps are a unique venue for growth as they allow children to become independent and self-confident while socialising, making new friends, and even learning new skills. Day 4 of Marvel Camp was filled with energetic activities and engaging sessions.
The day began with a morning walk across the street. This gave the children a fresh start to the day. This was followed by a game session where the children played different games, including badminton, volleyball, and other board games. After breakfast, a weekly test was conducted to track their progress. A movie premiere was organised after the evaluation, where children were shown the movie “How to Train Your Dragon”.
An exciting and interesting “Treasure Hunt” was organised for the children, which they enjoyed extremely well. All three teams participated and gained points equally until the team ‘Black Panther’ successfully found the final treasure. Along with this, children were taught the camp song under the guidance of Br. Ajil as a part of the night programme.
MIRACLE is a project that assists children who have been separated from their primary carers to keep them out of the system. MIRACLE provides skill training, English training, counselling, and financial assistance for the education of 40 children in the Trivandrum district.
