The International Yoga Day was observed at DB Veedu with a special awareness and practice session organized as part of the AWAKE project. The session was led by Ms. Aparna, who guided the students through the significance of Yoga and its benefits for physical and mental well-being.The event began with an awareness session on the theme of the year, “Yoga for Self and Society”, emphasizing how regular practice of yoga helps in improving concentration, reducing stress, and promoting overall harmony.Students from the AWAKE project actively participated in the session. They were introduced to various yoga postures, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques. Ms. Aparna patiently demonstrated and explained the benefits of each posture, encouraging the students to adopt yoga in their daily lives.The programme aimed not only at physical fitness but also at instilling mindfulness and discipline among the participants.
