: Children Attending their English lessons

The MIRACLE project children attended Don Bosco Nivas for a full day of classes on March 9th , 2024, from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There were eight students in attendance. An energizer was used to set the tone at the beginning of the session. Mrs. Aarti instructed the kids in “words and phrases used in daily life.” To improve memorization and ensure thorough learning, they were designed to engage in exercises and activities.

Activities aimed at enhancing their memory and focus were part of the afternoon session. They were split up into two groups and instructed to complete these mental exercises; they received points for doing so. Mr. Christy also taught guitar in the music classes during the afternoon session. As a thank you for their participation and performance, the children on the winning team received individual munchies at the end of the full day’s session, while the other children received chocolates. By 4 p.m., the kids departed back home.

MIRACLE is a project that supports children who are deprived of primary caregivers with the aim of preventing them from entering the system. MIRACLE provides skill training, English training, counseling, and financial assistance for the education of 40 children in the Trivandrum District.
