"Children at Don Bosco Nivas Shelter Home engage enthusiastically in environmental activities organized by 'I Volunteer for India', fostering a brighter, greener future."

On May 9, 2024, ‘I volunteer for India’, an NGO initiative,, organized a program for the children of Shelter Home (Don Bosco Nivas), focusing on environmental protection and conservation as part of World Environment day.

The program started around 2 pm and was led by two volunteers and three interns of the NGO. The interactive session using videos demonstrating environment protection, waste management, and ocean preservation, helped raise awareness among the children. In addition to the interactive session, the volunteers also organized a Poster making competition based on theme of Environmental Protection. The programme included fun games that the children enjoyed. The activities helped to reinforce the importance of protecting the environment in a lighthearted and engaging manner.

The program left a positive impact on the children’s understanding of environmental issues. .I volunteer for India’ also, distributed chocolates and study materials to the children.
