HELPING A BROKEN ISM FAMILY THROUGH COUNSELLING

MHD Thrissur helps in resolving a personal issue between Fortuj and Mira through counselling session.

Fortaj Mondal and Mira Mondal is a married couple from West Bengal who stayed in Kerala during pre covid. After that the family shifted back to their hometown and after few days the husband returned back to Kerala in search of work. In the later end of April month, the couple had some issues between them as his wife took a loan without his consent and gave it to someone which furiated her husband and was constantly abusing her over this act of hers.  She was so much affected by this that, she left their house with only 100 Rs in her hand. She wandered around initially, and somehow reached Chennai and from there to Bangalore. She got lost in Bangalore literally as she had no place to sleep or stay and was just roaming around the city hopelessly. And when reality hit her, she decided to move in Kerala. She decided to move to the place where she actually lived before in Kerala and the house owner then contacted her husband and that is when KISMAT Thrissur District Coordinator was informed by her husband regarding this matter. In the meantime, coordinator also spoke to the SHO of the respective police station regarding the same. After this, Fortaj reached Kerala after 2 days from this incidence occurred. On 9^th May, Coordinator carried out a counselling session for both of them firstly individually and then one more session together. There were many issues which formed into a bigger one as the sessions progressed but in the end of the session they were sorry about their deeds they did to each other and compromised with a hug. They promised to return next day to their hometown as a couple and return with their kids a week later as a family thus resolving all their issues and keeping aside their egos and live happily together as a strong family.
