CHILDLINE Trivandrum conducted an awareness session on “Healthy Relation & Positive Communication” for the students at Winners Study Centre, Pothencode. Mr Pramod P R and Ms. Anjali Satheesh J handled the session. Mr. Anshad, the Principal, welcomed the participants, and around 44 students participated in the session. Mrs. Amina proposed a vote of thanks. The counsellor identified several behavioural issues among students and personally interacted with them.

Children learn and develop best when they have strong, loving, positive relationships with parents and other close associates. Everything starts with the family. Positive role models are essential in nurturing healthy relationships. Unfortunately, our kids learn from our healthy relationships and may copy unhealthy or toxic behaviours in their future relationships. Sadly, children exposed to abusive or domestic violence are also at increased risk of being in abusive relationships.
