A meeting of the faculty of IMPACT (full form to be inserted) was held on April 29, 2025, at Don Bosco Veedu, Manacaud. The meeting reviewed the progress of the third batch of the IMPACT project. Don Bosco has been conducting IMPACT as a free coaching program for underprivileged but academically bright students since 2020, in collaboration with IBS. The review meeting was held in the context of the two months of intensive coaching being organized for the students as part of the summer programme.

The faculty expressed overall satisfaction with the students’ performance and noted that some of them are especially bright and could succeed in entrance exams with a bit more effort. The meeting recommended specially tailored career guidance, mock tests, and other capacity- and motivation-building activities to be provided as part of the programme.

Currently, the 2024–25 batch of IMPACT includes 34 students. The new batch for 2025–27 is scheduled to begin in June.
