n Independence Day, Don Bosco School marked the occasion with a significant ceremony dedicated to national pride and remembrance. The event, held at the school premises, featured the Mr. Rajeesh (CI) from Thampanoor Police Station hosting the flag. Students and staff actively participated, fostering a sense of unity and respect for the nation.

Mr. Manuel George, the Programme Manager, played a pivotal role in the celebration by educating the children about the importance of Independence Day and the sacrifices made by freedom fighters. His engaging speech highlighted the historical struggle for freedom, enhancing the students’ appreciation of the day.

In addition to the ceremonial activities, the school organized a drawing competition and a speech contest centered on Independence Day themes. These activities not only celebrated the occasion but also provided students with a creative outlet to express their understanding and respect for the nation’s history.

The event left a lasting impression on the students, creating meaningful memories that emphasized the values of patriotism and historical awareness.
