Children with the education kit provided by Don Bosco Veedu Society

Children pursuing their dreams with confidence
Now children of MSK Nagar and Karimadom colony can go to school with confidence as they have new educational supplies and school bags like any other children in their school. Don Bosco Veedu Society provided necessary study material kits before the beginning of the new academic year.
On 4th June 2023 Fr. Saji Elambaseril, Director Don Bosco Veedu Society distributed a package of necessary educational materials to 22 students in SPARK Project. In Karimadom colony educational materials were distributed to 71 students by Fr. Jiji Kalavanal and Fr. Dominic Kaniyantharayil and in MSK Nagar education materials distributed to 85 Students by Mr. Siva and Alan. Students from Rajaji Nagar, Miracle, SPARK, Awake and Impact projects received study material kits and school bags in a function conducted at DON BOSCO NIVAS, Thampanoor on the same day, around 68 students received study materials.
The benefitted children are from the most needy and under privileged sections. They were identified by the people’s representatives of the respective locations and project staff through a process of house visit, analysis of family situation and financial background. Before the new items were handed over to children, an orientation was given to parents and children by Director Don Bosco Veedu Society emphasizing the importance of education and the role of parents. The educational supplies will reduce the financial burden of their parents and enhance the interest of children to go to school.
