
The much-awaited Dhyuthi 2K26 Summer Camp commenced with great enthusiasm, bringing together 50 children aged 5 to 10 for a vibrant start to their learning journey. The inaugural function was graced by Fr. Jiji Kalavanal, Rector of Don Bosco Veedu, Thiruvananthapuram, who officially declared the camp open.
The event began with a warm welcome by Ms. Kavya, Project Coordinator, who highlighted the vision and objectives of the camp. Fr. Thomas Meckaden delivered the presidential address, encouraging the children to actively participate and make the most of this opportunity for growth and enjoyment.
The program featured lively cultural performances by the students, showcasing their talents and enthusiasm. A special highlight was the presentation of videos from previous camps, creating excitement and anticipation among the participants.
Adding a meaningful touch to the inauguration, all children imprinted their thumbprints on a “Tree of Memories,” symbolizing their unique presence and the beginning of a memorable journey together.
The day continued with a theme-based activity titled “Knowing Myself – ‘I’”, aimed at helping children explore self-awareness in a fun and engaging manner. The session was followed by a series of interesting and energetic games, setting a joyful tone for the days ahead.
