A full-day session was conducted for the children in the SPARK project on October 24th, 2023, at Don Bosco Nivas from 10:45 a.m. to 4:00p.m. Ten children participated. The session began with an energizer.
The topic for the session was ‘Basic Grammar and Spoken English – usage of articles and learning to ask verbal permissions were the primary focus’. The session started with the preview of last class. The children were divided into groups of three and made to do various activities after learning. The session went on side by side with games. The session was more of learning through doing model.
SPARK is an initiative to reinforce the academic and non-academic competencies of deprived, vulnerable, and semi-orphan children living in our operational areas. The project focuses on a holistic development model offering year-round academic preparation and supplementary education.
