  We believe the rights of the children, young, women, and the marginalized can be realized only through empowerment. Therefore, we focus on educational, social, economic, and cultural contexts and are policy-oriented.

  Trivandrum Don Bosco Veedu Society is part of the Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB) congregation spread over 133 countries working for the welfare of children and youth, especially those at risk.
  
  For reflection, sharing, and coordination among those involved in the Salesian ministry for the Young at Risk (YaR) in South Asia, to network with like-minded persons and organizations on behalf of YaR, to influence policies related to the young at risk at the state, national and international levels.

  We have redesigned our logo recently to reflect who we are and what we do and to communicate the same with others. The logo incorporates English and Malayalam alphabets. Just as we reach out to people of multiple ethnicities speaking myriad languages

Christmas Celebration at Don Bosco Nivas

Nivas boys performing dance on the stage

On 22^nd December 2022, Don Bosco Nivas organized Christmas celebration for the children and staff. The program started at 6.00 pm with a wonderful carol song of the Nivas boys. The program was enriched with the different program of the children and staffs. Fr. Jiji Kalavanal, Fr. Saji, Fr. Tony and Fr. Sebastian were delivered Christmas message to the children and staffs. The children are really enjoyed the whole program and performed their skills in music, dance and skits. Also, one of the importance ceremony of every Christmas program which is Christmas gift exchange conducted on the program. After all of that there had a wonderful feast. The blinding glory of Jesus was so very much intense that it enlightened the world and Christmas teaches us to keep learning the art of giving and receiving and making family, friends and acquaintances happy.
