CHILD HELP GROUP (CHG) MEETING

Thiruvananthapuram Railway CHILDLINE organized a Child Help Group (CHG) meeting in the Meeting Hall, Central Railway Station.

Thiruvananthapuram Railway Child Help Desk conducted the Child Help Group (CHG) meeting at the Meeting Hall, TVC. The meeting started with a silent prayer in memory of the beloved Jai Singh (former Station Manager). 

The meeting continued with a prayer song by Mrs. Beena Roy, Team Member, RCHD. The welcome address was delivered by Ms. Aiswarya Lawrence, (Team member, CHD). The Presidential Address was delivered by Mr. Joy (Station Manager (Commercial), TVC). He added that CHD has been planning to conduct TTE training for a long time, and last month they conducted the training. Mrs. Zeena Sunil (RCHD Coordinator) and the team members were lauded for their hard work.

Mrs. Zeena Sunil (RCHD, Coordinator) presented the previous month’s report in PPT, including total Case Interventions, Day Observances, Special Programs, and Success Stories. The keynote address was given by Mr. Babloo (Station Manager, TVC), and he appreciated all the members and mentioned the changes after initiating the CHILDLINE. The felicitation was given by Mr. Jobi Kondoor (District Coordinator, CHILDLINE TVPM), and he thanked the coordinator and team members and complimented the work of RCHD. After that, Mrs. Zeena presented the agendas and the previous month’s CHG minutes, which were approved by the Officials. 

Mr Anil Kumar (CHI, TVC), Mrs. Usha (CTI), Mr. Anil Kumar (Sub Inspector, RPF), Mrs. Mini (Sr. Civil Police Officer, GRP) and Mr. Manuel George (Program Manager, Don Bosco) participated and also gave their valuable suggestions during the entire program. Mr. Jeffin John (CHD, Team member) expressed their gratitude to the officials. Ms. Roshma Mary (Counselor, TVC) hosted the meeting.

Railway Childline is an active and integral part of Childline. The outreach programs of the project mainly focused on child protection and providing awareness about Childline and its activities.
