Thiruvananthapuram Railway CHILDLINE conducted a CHG Meeting at the Central Railway Station, Trivandrum

Thiruvananthapuram Railway Childline conducted a Child Help Group (CHG) meeting at the Meeting Hall, TVC on 30th November 2022. The meeting started with a silent prayer. Mrs. Beena (Team member, RCHD) welcomed all the Railway officials. The Presidential Address was delivered by Mr. Babloo Thomas (Station Manager, TVC) and he ensured all the staff are getting proper orientation and awareness from RCHD members. Mrs. Zeena Sunil (RCHD, Coordinator) presented the previous month’s (October) report which includes Total Case Intervention, Day Observances, Special Programs, and Success Stories. The Key Note Address was delivered by Mr. Joy (Station Manager (Commercial), TVC) and the Felicitation was delivered by Mr. Manuel George ( Program Manager, Don Bosco Veedu Society).  He said that the aim of the RCHD meeting was to have a check on the effectiveness of the team working methods. After that, Mrs. Zeena presented the last CHG meeting minutes report and the agendas. All the agendas were approved by the Officials. Mr. Nissar (CHI, TVC), Mrs. Usha Kumari (CTI, TVC), Mr. Vinod Kumar (Sub Inspector, RPF), Mr. Salim (Sub Inspector, GRP) and Mr. Jinesh & Mr. Ajith (SSE, Electrical Department) and CHD Staff also participated in the meeting and were actively involved in the open discussion. The vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Amala (Volunteer, RCHD). Mr. Sajeev( Team Member, RCHD) hosted the meeting.

Railway Childline is an active and effective part of Childline. The outreach programs of the project mainly focused on child protection and providing awareness about Childline and its activities.
