Celebrated Independence Day, Assumption Blessed Virgin Mary and Provided Awareness to Register in the ADHTHI Portal, SRC Malaparambu

Kozhikode Migrants’ Help Desk together with Jeevika Migrants’ Outreach Service celebrated Independence Day, Assumption of Blessed Virgin Mary and provided awareness program to register in the ADHTHI Portal at Socio- Religious Centre, Malaparambu, on 15th August 2023.

awareness program to register in the ADHTHI Portal at Socio- Religious Centre, Malaparambu, on 15th August 2023. The program began with the Holy Mass at 10am in SRC church where Fr. Paul was remained as main celebrant and Fr. Deepak joined as concelebrant and then followed by official gathering at SRC auditorium. Fr. Paul gave the message on Independence Day and Assumption of blessed virgin Mary during his homily that the twin celebration remined us of great truth of liberation.

There was an official gathering at SRC auditorium after the Holy Mass where Fr. Renny, MOS asst. director welcomed one and all to the program and wished everyone the joy and happiness of the day. Fr. Deepak, SRC director inaugurated the program with his short message and request to pray to mother Mary to protect Mother India from all evils that snatches the democracy of free India.  Meanwhile, some of the guest workers were engaged themselves in making the event more memorable one by preparing delicious lunch for all gathered. 

There were many dignitaries such as Smt. Alphonsa, Kozhikode councilor, Br. Anoop and Br. Rohit, MOS volunteers who also spoke a few words to strengthen the patriotism and love for mother Mary.    KISMAT coordinator Mr. Shanoy P M guided the guest workers to register in the ADHITHI Portal and also explained the need to register in it. The floor was opened for the guest workers to showcase their talent where many came forward to exhibit various program. The official program concluded with the loving words of thanks by the MOS coordinator Sr. Gracy. There were about 200 ISMs to make the day an unforgettable one.  The collective effort of guest workers in preparing a delightful meal was appreciated by everyone who came for the program. The guest workers did not forget to move in their traditional rhythmic steps at end of all the program.    The guest workers in the district really relaxed after months of continuous tiresome work in meaningfully sharing the time with own native people and got a space to express their patriotism to the nation over the celebration of Impendence Day and also helped to seek the intercession of blessed virgin Mary which is considered be the real strength of the program.
