A session named ‘BrainWeb’ was conducted for the beneficiaries of the MIRACLE project on March 18, 2023. The morning session included activities that refreshed their memory of English vocabulary and taught them a few techniques for learning English at home. This was followed by an English class with Mrs. Arti, who taught them basic etiquette, mannerisms, and commonly used sentences. The afternoon session included a monthly evaluation of the English vocabulary and GK training provided to them daily. The session concluded with an energizer activity. The children enjoyed the day and were cheerful.

Learning English is a continuous process. As it is a complex language, while teaching it, one has to include various interactive activities and games to make the process interesting and catchy. The children learn English and remember it only by building their interest and curiosity. These children who study in Government schools do not always get adequate attention from their teachers. Hence, teaching them English would help them with their future studies.

MIRACLE is a project that assists children who are deprived of primary caregivers by providing skill training, English training, counseling, and financial assistance to 40 children in Trivandrum district.
