Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav: Don Bosco Nivas celebrates 75th Independence Day

Don Bosco Nivas celebrated the 75th Independence Day with a patriotic spirit and conducted various competitions for the children.

As per the announcement of the Government of India, people across the nation celebrated India’s 75th Independence Day with great excitement. These celebrations paid tribute to the people instrumental in bringing India this far in its journey, with its current potential to activate India 2.0, powered by the spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat.

Don Bosco Nivas celebrated the 75th Independence Day along with different programmes. Mr. Renjith, Sub Inspector of Police, Thampanoor, hoisted the flag and delivered the Independence Day messages to the children in addition to distributing sweets.

After the formal programme, various Independence Day-related competitions, such as painting, kite making, poem recitation, poster making and freedom fighters album making competitions, were organized for the children.

The children actively participated in all the activities. Fr Saji SDB imparted knowledge about the importance of freedom in addition to the duties and responsibilities of an Indian citizen.
