DREAM Trivandrum conducted an awareness programme among the residents of Tittamangalam Residence Association, with the message against the ill effects of drugs and substances, on September 6, 2022. Forty members of the association attended the programme. Ms. S Patma, Ward Councillor, Kodunganoor Ward, inaugurated the programme and noted that the young generation should focus on extending their gratitude towards the elderly, which is currently lacking in society.
The awareness programme was conducted in collaboration with the Janamaithri Police Station, Vattiyoorkavu and the Tittamangalam Residence Association. Post the session, a question and answer session was conducted in order to clarify doubts.
DREAM (Drug Rehabilitation Education And Mentoring) is a project initiated by Don Bosco Veedu Society and Bangalore Rural Education and Development Society. The project focuses on reducing the access to and use of drugs among school and college students by creating awareness and providing counselling services and de-addiction services.
