ARAVAM 2.0 – Day 1 – Beginning of the 3-day Onam Camp for the children in MIRACLE

Day 1 of ARAVAM 2.0 began with an energizer session where the children got to loosen up and be ready for the classes. The English Hub focused on commonly mispronounced words and their correct pronunciation. Activities to develop listening skills were also given. The children were then divided into different committees to arrange the Onam celebration on the last day.

The committees were then given time to plan and assign duties to their members. This included the stage and decoration committee, which planned the stage arrangement and pookalam design; the program committee, which was in charge of deciding the onam games and cultural programs; and the food committee, which was in charge of serving food and cleaning. The day concluded with practice for cultural programs and tea.

MIRACLE is a project that supports children who are deprived of primary caregivers with the aim of preventing them from entering the system. MIRACLE provides skill training, English training, counseling, and financial assistance for education for 40 children in Trivandrum District.
